The Right of Way

Hello Fans! Hoboclown here.Flash Mc Cool has been on vacation. He spent a great deal of time in cyberspace but he is more refreshed and had this to tell you- "This morning I left my cave and went my usual route to catch the commuter train into Philadelphia. My leaning post where I lean to take a load off was unavailable. There was an ant trail directly perpendicular to where I would lean. All leaners know you have to have just the right angle to lean but my position was blocked by the ant trail.I decided to stand just one foot away from the trail. This gave me a good vantage point for observation. There is a general rule to not upset nature's creatures as they go about their normal activity. In essence, mother ducks and ducklings, geese and goslings and even ants have the right of way. Curiosity got the best of me as I became mesmerized by the hypnotic traffic movement on the two lane ant trail. There were as many ants going as coming. Their little trail was divided into opposing lanes without white lines and no speed limits were posted. It was funny how the ants each seem to pause and either high five each ant in the opposing lane or greet each passing ant before proceeding. Their road courtesy was exemplary. There was no road rage and humans could learn by their example .One smaller ant seemed to forget someting, made a u- turn to retrieve something a few centimeters back then made another U turn to proceed in his original direction. There didn't seem to be any ant trail troopers to give out any traffic tickets. But what were they hauling and where did they eventually end up? I had forgotten my magnifying glass and couldn't see what they were carrying. It was probably none of my business anyway! I did observe that each lane of traffic on the ant trail ended at a dark hole.I wanted to enter the hole to see what was down there but I was too big .Also, I would need a warrant to enter their premises. But on what grounds? Who would give me the warrant? I decided to just close this investigation by concluding that the ants not only have the right of way..They also have a right to privacy ." Well gang as you can see,Flash Mc Cool is rested and back to his usual... Stay cool and we'll see you next time! Love, ~Hoboclown ~ Copyright 2006
