Have no fear,hoboclown is here!As for Flash,he's back to work in the woods,pondering his guilt feelings and as he puts it," My friends in the woods don't like me to take too much time off.The sparrows were chitterin' and chatterin',chasing gnats because I wasn't there to give them any corn.The squirrels glared and scolded me because I didn't make their Saturday night game of acorn pool.They usually beat me anyway!".I asked Flash why he wore his red gloves and he reminded me that,"They're actually magic red gloves.I need them to pick up hatchlings when they fall from their nests.Their parents don't like the smell of humans much less the smell of toons like me touching them.The red gloves eliminate my scent.Also,I need them to pick the bubble-gum and string from the pidgeons' and doves' toes.Sometimes,I have to use them to help free the rabbits and bambies from the thickets.The raccoons demand that I wear the gloves when I straighten their black masks in the moonlight.The most important use of the red gloves is to remove sludge from the creeks and streams because the magic gloves are self-cleaning.."I asked Flash if he has to perform any dangerous tasks with his red gloves and he said,"Sure, bears need their backs scratched and you have to have a gentle touch.An angry bear behind you will help you do the 220 through the woods in 5 seconds flat.How do you think I got the name,Flash ?"Well folks I hope your friends and co-workers missed you like Flash's forest friends missed him this past holiday weekend.Were they able to do without you ?Tell us about it!
