The Real Mc Coy

Hi Fans,it's Hoboclown here.Flash Mc Cool and I received an email today from the CEO of The Indie Gathering with a copy addressed to himself.The email message began with the comment,"Your film has placed within the top 10 of your category". However, there was no mention of the name of the film.As expected,Flash was befuddled and had to investigate- " I had to determine if this message was the real Mc Coy for me or was it intended for someone else.I decided to do the most brilliant thing a hoboclown detective could do-I put on my red gloves,peered through my magnifying glass at a pile of dusty papers and found a telephone number for the Founder of The Indie Gathering. Somehow I had to get through the phone,put the klieg lights on him to give up the tapes on this mystery.Since I don't use a rubber hose,I just beat his ego with nonsensical questions until he gave in. As expected,he said the butler did it; hit the wrong key but the email message was intended for the Flash Mc Cool dude .I told him I would turn him into an animated frog if his didn't stop the doublespeak.He quickly ratted himself out and told me that my short film,Flash Mc Cool:Something's Fishy Here, did make the top ten of the comedy submission category and that I did receive the honorable mention laurel, Honorable Mention Film 2006 Indie Gathering Film Festival & Convention. I warned him not to let it happen again and warmly hung up ." Well Fans, that was close! I'm glad Flash is "cool wit dat" so he can get a hot plate of food and a cooool glass of apple juice...
