He saw two people fighting about Barack Obama's receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize and sent me to sniff around the Internet to pick up a scent of truth about the matter.

After I found out that people get the Nobel Peace Prize for somehow preserving the peace,I dug around and learned that US President Jimmy Carter,Jr. received the Prize after he left office as President. Prize for, " successful mediation to end the Russo-Japanese War ...and for his interest in arbitration." Geir also wrote that, "The Secretary and advisor of the Nobel Committee at the time were highly critical of an award to Roosevelt." Geir also wrote that US President Thomas

Woodrow Wilson received the Prize ," for his crucial role in establishing the League of Nations."Geir also noted some controversy in Wilson's award of the Prize.I laid down after I found that bit of information!

Then, I chased down a scent and fetched a tidbit of information at the Nobel Prize Internet Archive; that Barack Obama had received the Nobel Prize for his," extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples". I rolled over after

retrieving that bit of information!
