Here I am again, looking for clues about the education of early mankind! If you're like me and sit in a cave long enough, you begin to wonder about the basics of the Life experience. We all know that the printing press, computers, the internet and smart phones did not always exist or did they ?How was knowledge, problem-solving ,rules of conduct, social courtesies, family connectedness and basic customs conveyed to early man? I suspect that some were conveyed through observation and interaction between early man and lower animals. One such well-studied subject is the characteristics of elephant communal life.We, modern and 'civilized humanity' can still learn many lessons from the past and today's elephant community.
