21st Century Policing in the USA

Sometimes an ol' fictional hoboclown detective has to take off the red gloves to get some answers to tough questions. I followed my leads to Washington,D.C. and pressed my sources for the low down on "21st Century Policing". It seems that the concept stemmed from a President Obama Executive Order that created the President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing. In May, 2016 the "COPS Office launched the advancing 21st Century Policing Initiative". They also rendered a one year progress report. President Obama has said," We may not solve every problem or tear down every barrier of mistrust overnight but by working together and addressing our challenges in the open space of democracy we can make things better."
