A "Clown" Was Appointed To The US Supreme Court ?

It's tough being a fictional hoboclown detective.Just when I was holding my head high in prospects of being the first clown to be nominated for the US Supreme Court, my investigation turned up a "clown" who beat me to the mark! The fact of the matter was that Richard Nixon was said to have appointed, "four supreme court justices in his first term,including: Warren Burger,Harry Blackmun, Justices Powell and Rehnquist ",according to Luis Arandia,Jr. in his article at https://learningconlaw.wordpress.com/2009/04/27/nominating-the-%E2%80%9Cclown%E2%80%9D-rehnquist-to-the-supreme-court/ Rehnquist allegedly caught Nixon's eye as Nixon referred to Rehnquist as,"The guy dressed like a clown" who went on to,"be Nixon's eight choice...most successful in changing the court's philosophy." As the saying goes,"Sometimes you just have to dress to impress."
