After searching the cyber woods this evening under the watchful eyes of
black-masked raccoons, I dispatched my dog to do Nose Work
and to fetch documents about the FBI ,relating to the inception and control over
its' operations. For a tiny morsel of a treat, the K-9 brought me the unclassified
documents that were retrieved.
With my back to the wall and my vigilant eye on the entrance to my cave,I examined
the documents by the light of my camp fire. I quickly learned that the FBI had a female
agent, who was let go during the agency's infancy. It also had a senior citizen FBI agent
who was born in Russia and spoke several languages. He died early .
Numerous national political and geopolitical forces were at play( including wartime stressors)
that shaped the mission, power and control of the bureau. There was also some Secret Service
involvement early on that (as you can guess) was "secret".Are you up for early intrigue ?
I invite you to get a cool or hot drink and to join me in reading about the FBI history by
the light of the camp fire in my cave. You can begin at the following link,
