The Haiti Earthquake:Chaos,Opposites and Hope

Thoughts about Opposites and Chaos gently nudged me awake this morning.After a night of fitful sleep,resulting from the past several days of the disastrous news of anguish,turmoil and strife in Haiti,my mind was fixated on a momentary reflection on the nature of the Universe,its chaos and order and more comforting thoughts.No matter where your clock is in the Universe,every second is marked by Chaos and Order.
Opposites seem to create Order out of Chaos.Or, perhaps it is the Order that creates the Opposites ? For instance, wherever there is Pain,there is some Joy.Wherever there is Death,there is Life.Wherever there is Tragedy,there is Triumph. Our human awareness of Opposites,creates Hope.As an imaginary hoboclown,if I did not Laugh,I would Cry.

While War wages on in Afghanistan and Iraq,Humanitarian Efforts are waged around the world to help a devastated country of Haitian people.The two scenarios are Opposites
that foster Hope in Mankind.
